Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Simulation Engineer / Digital Factory Engineer. This Simulation Engineer will support the design, validation, and optimization of advanced manufacturing systems using digital simulation technologies. This role will leverage Plant Simulation, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, AutoCAD, FactoryCAD, and digital factory modeling tools to evaluate automation concepts, optimize manufacturing processes, and enable future-state production strategies. The ideal candidate combines industrial engineering fundamentals with automation expertise and creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative manufacturing solutions. Develop and maintain digital factory models using Plant Simulation Utilize NVIDIA Isaac Sim to simulate robotic systems, autonomous workflows, and advanced automation concepts in virtual manufacturing environments. Design production layouts, equipment placement strategies, and material flow concepts using AutoCAD and FactoryCAD. Perform simulation studies to validate throughput, cycle times, labor utilization, buffering, and manufacturing capacity requirements. Evaluate automation opportunities and develop recommendations that improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Support facility planning, manufacturing expansion projects, and new product launches through simulation-based decision making. Create digital twins of manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and optimize production workflows before physical installation. Collaborate with automation, controls, robotics, manufacturing, and operations teams to validate proposed production system designs. Analyze simulation results and present data-driven recommendations to engineering and leadership teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through virtual testing and scenario analysis. Compensation:
$35/hr to $45/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
