To supervise and carry out all aspects of formwork (shuttering) operations for concrete structures, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and programme requirements. • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and method statements. • Set out and construct formwork for foundations, columns, walls, beams, slabs, staircases, and other reinforced concrete structures. • Measure, cut and assemble timber, plywood and proprietary formwork systems • Have a knowledge of formwork systems such as Perri or Doka • Strong knowledge of formwork and construction method • Assemble, erect, alter, and dismantle traditional and proprietary formwork systems. • Ensure formwork dimensions, levels, and alignment comply with project requirements. • Be proficiency with hand tools and power tools • Install and maintain temporary works associated with formwork operations. • Carry out quality checks before concrete pours. • Identify and rectify defects or inaccuracies in formwork installations. • Attention to detail and Quality workman ship • Assist with other site duties when required
