The bulk of your time is in the workshop — fabricating, finishing, and getting it right — with occasional travel to sites for installation. Your day-to-day will include: • Reading and interpreting plans and shop drawings • Assembling, cutting, laminating, and finishing custom cabinetry and display elements with precision • Working independently and as part of our production team to meet project deadlines • Travelling to local sites and occasionally interstate to assemble and install finished exhibits • Packing products and tools safely for transport and managing materials efficiently • Safely operating a range of machines, tools, and equipment • Working closely with managers and site staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard Every project that leaves our workshop is custom and built to a high standard. What We're Looking For • 3+ years experience as a Cabinet Maker or Shopfitter — essential • Certificate III in Cabinet Making or Shopfitting • QLD White Card and current Australian driver's licence • Ability to read and interpret plans and shop drawings accurately • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and finish • Someone who follows process and takes ownership of their work • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally interstate for installations • Permanent Australian resident Helpful but not essential: experience in exhibitions, events, or museum fitout.
