Shift Lead – Car Wash Job Level: Entry-Level Leadership Location: Burbank, IL Status: Full-Time & Part-Time Compensation: $16 - $18 plus commission/bonuses, OTE $21+ per hour Benefits: We offer flexible scheduling with both part-time and full-time positions available, ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week. About the Role: At WashU, a shift lead plays a key role in overseeing daily operations and supporting team performance during their assigned shift. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high-quality service standards, and delivering exceptional customer experience. Shift leads help guide team members, uphold company processes, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and support daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and quality standards • Supervise, assign tasks, and provide coaching to team members • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and resolving issues • Promote and upsell memberships and premium services • Monitor equipment and wash processes; report or address issues as needed • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility • · Perform basic operational tracking (sales, cars serviced, incidents) and support inventory needs Key Requirements: • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining high service standards • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues professionally and efficiently • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage operations and transactions accurately • Reliable and punctual with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed • Physically able to operate car wash equipment and perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks No prior car wash experience is required—we provide on-site training to help you succeed.
