About the role Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for an experienced Shift Engineer to join the Team.  The   Shift Engineer diagnoses and provides service and repairs to hotel equipment and responds to inquiries and problems in an efficient,   courteous   and professional manner to achieve   maximum   customer satisfaction while   complying with   all Four Seasons’ policies. What you will do • Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update   appropriate logs . • Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers,   chillers   and associated equipment throughout the entire building. • Respond to guest calls   regarding   maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or publi c   area   in a timely manner . • Be familiar with all   emergencies   procedures and r espond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power   failures, etc. • Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and   maintain   an organized department and hotel. • Install or   relocate   any   additional   equipment or existing equipment when necessary. • Assist   with energy conservation programs in the hotel. • Install electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and provide electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups. • Where required   assist   with training to all department staff to ensure efficient operation, proper   maintenance   and repair to equipment. What you bring: +1 year   experience   in a similar position. E xcellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing   personality   and a can-do approach to any request. W orking technical knowledge of   general building maintenance and basic ability to   operate   computer equipment. Reading,   writing   and oral   proficiency   in the   Italian   language.   Proficiency   in English is a plus.
