Sheet Metal Fabricator Responsibilities: • Fabrication of ductwork and or piping prefabrication: forming, burning, knock down, and pre-assembly of sheet metal. Cutting pipe, layout connections, plans, and hanger assembly. • Plan; layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines using machinery such as a plotter and or hand tools such as a calculator, scribe, square or tape measure • Cut out sheet metal using a plasma machine, hydraulic shear, and or hand tools, gluing, assembling PVC and other HVAC pipe materials. • Shape sheet metal using mechanical or hydraulic breaks, rollers, and or hand tools • Inspect ductwork and plumbing assemblies for accuracy • Maintain equipment, and shop; making repairs and modifications when necessary • All other duties as assigned by the manager Sheet Metal Fabricator Requirements: • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen • Open to training • Dexterity: Hand-eye coordination • Ability to stand for 90% of the day • Ability to work with ongoing exposure to loud noise • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Sound judgment and critical thinking • Highly reliable and punctual • Strong work ethic • Willingness to learn • Team player with ability to work well with others • Attention to detail Benefits: • Health Dental, and Vision Insurance • Employer Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability • Employer Paid Life Insurance Policy up to $50,000 • Employee Stock Ownership Program • 401(k) Matching Program • Referral Bonus Program • Paid Time Off & Holidays Worth & Company, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity at all levels.
