Job description
Als SHE Specialist binnen een contractlogistieke omgeving ben je verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen en verbeteren van de veiligheid, gezondheid en het milieu ( Safety, Health & Environment ). Je werkzaamheden richten zich onder andere op het ontwikkelen, implementeren en optimaliseren van SHE-beleid op site-niveau.
• Zorgdragen voor naleving van relevante Belgische en Europese wetgeving op het gebied van veiligheid en milieu.
• Toepassen en onderhouden van managementsystemen volgens ISO 14001 en ISO 45001 ; verantwoordelijk voor audits en continue verbetering.
• Beheren en opvolgen van Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) na incidenten, audits of bevindingen.
• Optreden als gecertificeerd Preventieadviseur niveau 2 ; adviseren en ondersteunen van het management en medewerkers op vlak van preventie en welzijn op het werk.
• Stellen en analyseren van KPI’s op het gebied van SHE, formuleren van verbetervoorstellen en opvolging hiervan.
• Initiëren en afstemmen van audits over veiligheidsprocessen en compliance, inclusief dangerous goods en AEO -vereisten.
• Acteren als verbindingspersoon tussen verschillende afdelingen, zowel operationeel als ondersteunend, en zorgen voor correcte communicatie van SHE-beleid in het Nederlands en het Engels.
Deze functie vereist een analytische aanpak, nauwkeurige opvolging van procedures en een praktische betrokkenheid bij zowel dagelijkse operaties als structurele verbeterinitiatieven.
Profile description
Wij zijn op zoek naar kandidaten die zich herkennen in een professionele, analytische en mensgerichte aanpak binnen het SHE-domein. Succesvolle kandidaten voor deze positie hebben een stevige achtergrond in veiligheid, gezondheid, milieu en security, en beschikken over de visie om zowel beleid te ontwikkelen als te verankeren in de praktijk op operationeel niveau.
• Ervaren en gecertificeerd: Beschikt over een bachelor diploma, is erkend Preventieadviseur niveau II en heeft ruime ervaring (minimaal vijf jaar) in een soortgelijke SHE-functie – bij voorkeur binnen logistieke of industriële omgevingen.
• Kennis en overtuigingskracht: Heeft diepgaande kennis van ISO-normen (zoals 14001 en 45001), AEO-certificering en relevante Belgische en Europese wetgeving. Kan deze expertise overbrengen op anderen en neemt collega’s vlot mee in SHE-veranderingen.
• Proces- en verbeteringsgericht: Heeft bewezen ervaring met het opzetten, evalueren en optimaliseren van SHE-beleid op site-niveau. Is vertrouwd met CAPA-processen, audits en milieuwetgeving en weet verbeteringen te realiseren met oog voor detail en resultaat.
• Communicatief en diplomatiek: Drukt zich vloeiend uit in het Nederlands en goed in het Engels. Kan vlot en overtuigend communiceren met medewerkers en management, schakelt gemakkelijk tussen niveaus en bouwt bruggen dankzij een diplomatische en empathische aanpak.
• Analytisch en stressbestendig: Weet zaken helder te analyseren, werkt gestructureerd en resultaatgericht, en blijft ook onder druk doelgericht en gefocust. Initiatiefnemend en steeds op zoek naar praktische en doeltreffende oplossingen.
• Hands-on en betrouwbaar: Kan snel schakelen, toont eigenaarschap en heeft een pragmatische, no-nonsense mentaliteit. Handelt integer, is discreet waar nodig en staat zowel stevig in de schoenen als open voor samenwerking.
Kandidaten die uitblinken in deze positie combineren technische expertise met een passie voor veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu, en weten theorie moeiteloos om te zetten in gedragen praktijk op de vloer.
