Reporting directly to the u003cstrongu003eMANUFACTURING MANAGER u003c/strongu003e, ensuring that machines continue to produce good parts and minimize stoppages. Set and optimize injection moulding machine to ensure uninterrupted, efficient production of quality products. Setting and optimizing robotic assembly and processes, ensuring grippers are maintained.u003c/emu003eu003cbru003eu003cemu003e*Preference will be given to employees from the Designated Groups.u003c/emu003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eTasks:u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003e- Start and re-start machines and auxiliaries adhering to order of production scheduleu003cbru003e- Set and optimization of moulding machines and any auxiliaries. This includes new moulds or products.u003cbru003e- At all times care must be taken not to damage moulds or equipment.u003cbru003e- Complete relevant documentation as required by Techniplas quality system.u003cbru003e- Inspect and or measure work pieces for defects, to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules or other measuring instruments.u003cbru003e- Clean moulding machines after set-up and remove all grease marks on entire machine.u003cbru003e- Store all nuts and bolts etc., in correct place.u003cbru003e- When mould is removed it must be cleaned and checked for defects.u003cbru003e- Report all defects or service requirements.u003cbru003e- Before locating a mould, ensure machine platens are clean and there are no water leaks.u003cbru003e- Ensure mould changes are carried out fast and effective.u003cbru003e- Training of new and existing staff.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eRequired qualifications:u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003e- Grade 12 or equivalentu003cbru003e- Advanced Injection moulding course – Plastics SAu003cbru003e- 3 years plastic injection mouldingu003cbru003e- Computer literacy on MS Officeu003cbru003e- Experience within Automotive Industry would be advantageousu003cbru003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eWhy work here?u003c/strongu003eu003cbru003eWe Offer you a varied and interesting job, attractive employment conditions, a dynamic environment, opportunities for further training and qualification, an open and team-oriented corporate culture.
