Job Summary We’re hiring skilled CNC Machinists to join a true high-precision machine shop. You will work with some of the best equipment around, ranging from 5-axis mills and horizontal mills to Swiss-style lathes, machining complex parts to exacting tolerances. In this role, you’ll own the setup and operation of high-mix, low-volume production runs. We are looking for strong machinists who want to learn, grow, and take their craft to the next level. Compensation $27 - $32 / hr Unlimited optional overtime Relocation assistance Double-time pay after 56 hours Relocation Position in Murfreesboro Relocation assistance provided Shift Monday - Friday 2nd Shift Benefits 100% Company-paid medical care Paid Time Off (PTO) Extensive on-site training and career development Responsibilities Setup & Operation:  Perform independent setups and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis mills, mill-turn lathes, or multi-spindle lathes in a high-mix, low-volume environment. Machine Tending:  Install specified collets, bushings, cams, and gears; load bar stock; and control or operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously. Tooling & Offsets:  Manage locating fixtures in setup, adjust tool positions, change tools, and utilize tool monitoring systems. Process Ownership:  Read part prints and job orders for dimensions, cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cuts, while maintaining process control tools (such as SPC). Precision Inspection:  Perform first piece sample inspections and continuous monitoring using standard gages, CMMs, and advanced vision systems (Keyence). Documentation & Systems:  Accurately complete dimensional reports and perform data collection in our MRP system (Epicor). Maintenance:  Maintain machine lubricants and coolants, perform daily operator maintenance, and keep your work area clean and organized. Requirements Qualifications Required Experience:  3+ years of CNC milling and/or lathe experience Setups:  Proven ability to perform independent machine setups and fixture changeouts. Technical:  Strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to understand and follow complex work instructions. Precision:  Proven ability to hold incredibly tight tolerances Metrology:  Proficiency with standard measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gages, depth gages, pin gages, and basic CMM operation. Dependability:  Highly reliable on a daily basis with the ability to adhere to the standard schedule. Preferred Industry:  Experience in highly regulated industries (Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, Military) or an ISO 9001 environment. Advanced Machining:  5-axis milling experience and proficiency with Robodrill, Makino, Mikron, or DMG Mori equipment. Advanced Metrology:  Very strong GD&T skills and experience with CMM dimensional reporting. Work History:  Proven stability with a tenure of greater than 2–3 years at previous employers.
