PURPOSE:
Diagnose and repair defects in any roofing system with zero defects, manage one or more service apprentices, and ensure all customer needs are efficiently and effectively addressed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Always maintain a SAFE work environment.
• Adhere to Best Roofing Fundamentals.
• Plan your day and your jobs in advance.
• Manage your service truck and ensure it is always stocked fully with necessary supplies.
• Provide service recommendations to customers based on roof condition.
• Train/coach/develop your apprentices, including providing recognition and corrective actions.
• Direct your apprentice(s) regarding work to be completed – inspect what you expect.
• Ensure time is accurately recorded for you and your apprentice(s) each day for each job performed.
• Complete work orders including photos, thorough description of work completed, list all materials and quantities used, and provide any notes for use for additional service calls at location.
• Understand project scope of work.
• Understand product specification requirements.
• Adhere to company processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Single ply: layout rolls, welding detail and run robot, SP details, and terminations.
• Mop/Torch: layout rolls, mop, torch, flashing details, and terminations.
• Metal: install coping caps/corners, drip edges, and counter flashings.
• Leak detection: finding a leak depending on different deck and material types.
• Effective verbal/written communication skills required.
• Ability and efficiency in using mobile device(s) and applications for communication.
• OSHA 10 certification required. (Anyone without Certification MUST attend class)
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
