We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer - Compressed Air & Gas Systems based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time Permanent basis. Summary of the Service Engineer - Compressed Air & Gas Systems role Salary: £35,000 - £41,000 Location: Bedfordshire Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am-5pm Responsibilities of the Service Engineer - Compressed Air & Gas Systems • Maintain, repair and install compressed air systems and related equipment • Run diagnostic tests to find and fix system issues • Log job reports • Travel to customer sites within a 30 mile radius to repair equipment • Complete planned and preventative maintenance Requirements for a successful Service Engineer - Compressed Air & Gas Systems • Experience in a similar Service Engineer role working with industrial air, refrigeration or gas systems • Electrical and mechanical skills • Experience in scheduled maintenance • Fault diagnosis and repair experience • Full UK driving licence What our Client offers • Training and ongoing opportunities • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days the longer you are with them • Company vehicle and specialist tools • Health insurance and a contributory pension scheme About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
