Description
Job Position: Service & Repair Technician
Location: Saskatoon
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair & Service Equipment: Perform repairs and service on various machines used in cleaning, maintenance, and janitorial work.
• Schedule Maintenance: Ensure maintenance schedules for machines sold are followed through timely and effectively.
• Electronic Equipment Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment related to the cleaning and maintenance industry.
• Inspection & Testing: Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies for proper function.
• Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot circuit, component, and equipment faults.
• Repairs & Adjustments: Make necessary adjustments, alignments, replacements, or repairs to electronic equipment and assemblies.
• Work Orders & Reporting: Complete work orders, test reports, and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Cost Estimates: Prepare cost estimates for repairs and services, ensuring transparency with customers.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certificate in electronics, mechanical etc. Service Technician Trade Certification is preferrable.
• Proven experience in repairing and servicing cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, circuit boards, and general machinery repair.
• Hand-eye co-ordination, Attention to detail, m anual dexterity, s tanding for extended period
