Up to £30,000 DOE Hunters’ client, a well-established, family-run independent garage, is looking for a proactive Service Advisor / Garage Receptionist to become the friendly face of their busy workshop. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines customer service, administration, and workshop coordination. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, keeping the day running smoothly while supporting the technicians and ensuring vehicles are booked in efficiently. Service Advisor / Garage Receptionist – The Role • Welcome customers and manage vehicle bookings from enquiry through to collection • Coordinate the workshop diary, liaising with technicians to keep work running efficiently • Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person, providing a professional and friendly service • Complete day-to-day administrative tasks, including invoicing, job cards, and updating internal systems • Move customer vehicles safely around the site when required Service Advisor / Garage Receptionist – The Fit • Previous experience within the motor trade, automotive customer service, or a similar front-of-house role is desirable • Full UK driving licence with confidence moving customer vehicles • Excellent communication and organisational skills • A genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry would be advantageous • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a busy workshop environment What’s on Offer • Up to £30,000 DOE • Monday to Friday working hours • Join a respected, family-run independent garage • Friendly, close-knit team with long-term stability • Varied role with plenty of customer interaction and responsibility This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the automotive industry, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and wants to play an important role in the day-to-day running of a busy independent garage.
