Our client is an independent and well‑established Water Treatment Company seeking a Senior Water Treatment Engineer to join their team in London. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring all works are delivered to the highest technical standards, compliant with legislation, and completed efficiently in line with LCA requirements. Role Overview As Senior Engineer, you will: • Oversee technical compliance and smooth delivery of projects. • Respond to reactive callouts promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Provide technical support and fault‑finding assistance to engineers on site. • Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works meet L8 HSG274, SFG20, and HVAC standards. • Audit sites, update logbooks, and report issues to senior management. • Carry out water hygiene and treatment duties, including testing and fault rectification across closed systems, cooling towers, water softeners, and swimming pools. • Support installation and maintenance of plumbing, pumps, water softeners, and automated dosing equipment. Key Responsibilities • Manage assigned jobs effectively, ensuring systematic and logical workflows. • Coordinate equipment and materials with the Operations Manager and Purchasing Administrator. • Identify and carry out remedial works. • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date site logbooks and COSHH records. • Conduct logbook audits and site surveys. • Liaise with the Help Desk to ensure timely completion of PPM works. • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and risk assessments. • Build strong relationships with customers and tenants, managing expectations professionally. • Prepare quotations and proposals for clients. • Report regularly to Senior Management/Directors. • Contribute to the ongoing development of the department. About You • Experienced in water treatment and hygiene, with strong technical knowledge. • Skilled in plumbing or installation of water softeners, pumps, and dosing equipment (preferred). • Excellent problem‑solving and fault‑finding abilities. • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. • Committed to compliance, safety, and high‑quality service delivery.
