Hartley People Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a leading logistics and warehousing organisation This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to take ownership of a busy operation, leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across all warehouse activities. The Role: • Lead and manage all day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective performance. • Oversee stock control, inventory management and warehouse procedures. • Manage warehouse resources, staffing levels and operational workflows. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Lead, coach and develop warehouse teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service levels. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, using data to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with all health & safety, quality and operational standards. • Maintain warehouse facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and productive working environment. • Support wider business objectives through effective planning and collaboration across departments. The Person: • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a warehouse management role. • Experience managing large-scale or multi-site warehouse operations is advantageous. • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams. • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and inventory management. • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft 365. • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement change effectively. • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach. • Hands-on management style with the ability to lead by example.
