We work with an ever-growing & impressive range of clients from well-known TV Shows, to Weddings, Visitor Attractions, Corporate Events and Private Parties, supplying props, theming and furniture to over 2,000 events every year. Our headquarters in Thorp Arch near Leeds is vast Aladdin’s cave of unique props, and furniture. We manufacture in-house in our state of the art production facility. This is a Creative Production Workshop like no other, and as such we are looking for extraordinary people to join us! We are looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join our Production team, and head up the Upholstery department. You will be carrying out a varied range of tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy the challenge of crafting something new, and solving problems creatively. You enjoy working as part of a team, and collaborating with colleagues. Responsibilities • Completing new build Upholstered projects, including sofas, modular seating and bespoke work. • Completing repairs to our rental stock. • Managing material stock levels in the department • Other on general fabric projects, such as packaging bags • Estimating/quoting on new projects • Enjoy being a team-player and working closely with others • Demonstrate the highest level of safety in the workplace • Enjoy taking ownership, and be proactive and self-motivated • Support the wider needs of the company by flexible working at Seasonal peaks Skills/attributes required • Self Motivated, Proactive • Experienced Upholsterer • Reliable and responsible • Excellent Communicator • Confident working independently • Team Player Hours of work 24-40hrs over Monday to Friday. We are looking for part time or full time applicants who are interested in this role.
