We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our Regional Surgical Robotics team! Use your technical expertise and clinical experience to train, educate and inspire field personnel, new hires surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties to advance patient care and outcomes with Medtronic products, therapies and beyond the product. We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead training initiatives, drive competitive readiness across our organization. This role partners closely with the marketing, business dev and commercial team and cross-functional stakeholders to design, deliver and actively be involved in the continuous improvement of impactful training programs on Robotic Assisted Surgery technologies, ensuring our teams stay ahead in a rapidly evolving competitive landscape. This role is open within Asia RLM and includes non-traditional work hours. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. • Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. • Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. • Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives. • Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training. • May utilize trainers with technical expertise. • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. Required Knowledge and Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience (OR Associate's Degree with 6+ years’ experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years’ experience). • Experience in Surgical Robotics or Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS), preferably within the medical device industry. • Strong clinical background with understanding of operating room (OR) environments and surgical workflows. • Proven ability to train and educate surgeons, first assistants, OR staff, and field teams. • Experience developing and delivering technical product training programs and educational content. • Skilled in creating training materials, lesson plans, and learning aids using effective adult-learning methodologies. • Experience partnering with Marketing, Commercial, Business Development, and cross-functional teams. • Ability to drive competitive readiness and capability-building initiatives across the organization. • Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, keeping training content current with evolving technologies and market trends. • Willingness to support a regional Asia role, including travel and non-traditional working hours when required.
