Description
We are seeking an experienced technical leader to support the development and execution of products from initial concept through production. This role focuses on ensuring overall fit, quality, and construction standards while balancing creative intent, manufacturing feasibility, and timelines.
The position partners closely with cross‑functional teams and external manufacturing partners, serving as a key link between design vision and technical execution. This individual also plays an important role in maintaining product standards, refining processes, and supporting continuous improvement across categories.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead product evaluations throughout development, including early prototypes through production approval, with a focus on fit, construction, and performance
• Establish and maintain consistent standards to ensure quality and execution across multiple product categories
• Identify development issues and collaborate on practical solutions that align with design intent and production requirements
• Review products at various stages to ensure accuracy in specifications, materials, and construction
• Prepare clear technical feedback and documentation to support cross‑functional and external partners
• Assess how materials and construction methods impact durability, comfort, and overall performance
• Support consistency in sizing, grading, and overall product integrity
• Partner with manufacturing teams to guide development, resolve issues, and support production readiness
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to ensure aesthetic goals and functional requirements are met
• Contribute ideas that improve quality, functionality, and efficiency
• Support process improvements, knowledge sharing, and best practices across the team
Background & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Extensive experience in technical development, fit, or product development within a manufacturing or product‑driven environment
• Strong understanding of construction methods, fit principles, and product specifications
• Experience working with a range of materials and multiple product categories
• Familiarity with design and technical documentation tools
• Experience partnering with external manufacturers and managing development timelines
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills
• Clear communicator comfortable working across teams and time zones
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Requirements
• 8+ years of work experience with Apparel
• 8+ years of Retail Apparel and Fashion experience
• 5+ years of work experience with Tech Packs
• Working in a hybrid setting
