Senior Support Worker - Ellesmere Port Location: Ellesmere Port Salary: £28,957.50 per annum (Plus on-call/Overtime) Hours: Full-time, Permanent (role requires flexibility with shift work, including on-call duties, and includes dedicated time for office-based administration and rotation that includes everyother weekend. Our experienced and compassionate teams deliver high-quality support to individuals with additional needs, including Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and complex behaviours Our services focus on person-centred support, empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives while ensuring they have the same rights, opportunities and choices as everyone else in society About the Role As a Senior Support Worker, you will assist the Service Manager in delivering outstanding care and support to individuals who enjoy active and independent lifestyles. You will play a vital role in supporting people with daily routines and encouraging independence Your responsibilities will include: • Leadership & Support - Deputise for the Service Manager in their absence and support in leading and developing the staff team to deliver high-quality care • Service Delivery - Manage rotas and staffing to ensure safe, effective and person-centred support at all times • On-call Duties - Provide on-call support across the service as required, responding to incidents and offering guidance to staff • Person-Centred Care - Build strong, professional relationships with individuals and deliver support in line with person-centred care plans • Direct Support - Support individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care, while promoting independence and choice What we're looking for • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Health and Social Care is desirable.
