The Role
As Senior Supervisor , you’ll provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day support to frontline teams while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred services for autistic adults attending day services.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, families and colleagues, you’ll help create an environment where individuals are supported to develop new skills, build confidence, participate within their communities and achieve greater independence.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and support Social Care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.
• Supervise, mentor and develop staff through positive leadership.
• Coordinate staff rotas and workforce planning.
• Lead team meetings and contribute to service reviews and continuous improvement.
• Support the implementation of Person-Centred Plans (PCPs) and individual support plans.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and community participation.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, organisational policies and best practice.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
What You’ll Need Essential Qualifications
• Degree in Social Care, Social Care Studies, Social Work, Psychology or a relevant Level 8 qualification.
• Qualifications obtained outside Ireland must be recognised as equivalent through NARIC.
Experience & Skills
• Minimum one year’s recent experience supporting individuals with complex support needs.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience managing staff rotas and workforce planning.
• Experience leading and chairing meetings.
• Strong understanding of Autism and person-centred support.
• Knowledge of current Social Care legislation and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team.
• Full clean manual driving licence with the ability to drive service vehicles.
• Good standard of written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
