The Senior Structural Engineer will lead complex projects across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, mixed-use and infrastructure sectors from their London base. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary between £55,000 and £65,000. Responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary teams to meet quality, programme and commercial targets, while building strong client relationships. The postholder will review calculations, drawings and technical reports, and mentor engineers and technicians. Candidates must be degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering, hold Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through IStructE or ICE, and possess extensive UK consultancy experience delivering structural engineering projects. Senior Structural Engineer 📍London | Permanent | Full-Time £55,000 - £65,000 We're seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to deliver complex projects across sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, mixed-use and infrastructure. The Role Lead structural engineering projects from concept through to completion. Manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality, programme and commercial objectives are met. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Review and approve calculations, drawings and technical reports. Mentor and develop engineers and technicians. About You Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered Engineer (CEng) through IStructE or ICE. Extensive UK consultancy experience delivering structural engineering projects. Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, Building Regulations and CDM Regulations. Desirable Experience High-rise and complex building structures. Refurbishment and adaptive reuse projects. Sustainable and low-carbon design solutions. Existing client network and business development capability. Software Experience with Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA Engineer, Tedds, MasterSeries, AutoCAD, Revit and/or Navisworks would be advantageous.
