Description
Senior Strategist,  AdTech Location:  Brazil or Mexico (Remote)  — servicing the US market Languages:  English   (full professional  proficiency ); Portuguese and/or Spanish a plus Department:  AdTech About the Role Cybba  is looking for a  senior strategist  to own media planning and strategy for  Cybba's  US clients — working remotely from Brazil or Mexico,  operating  fully to US standards and IAB best practices . This is a hands-on, end-to-end role: you take a client  objective  and carry it the full distance, from channel strategy and programmatic and social activation through attribution design, execution oversight, and the measured outcome. You own the margin on what you build, you turn what works into repeatable managed offerings, and you keep a hard record of which proposals win and which  lose ,  so the next strategy is sharper than the last. You  operate  as a fully integrated extension of  Cybba’s  US team — fluent in the US AdTech ecosystem and current on where it is heading, able to present at a senior level to US clients and internal leadership alik e. Responsibilities Media Strategy & Planning • Build end-to-end media plans across programmatic, paid social, and emerging channels for  US clients, aligned to US planning standards and IAB best practices . • Translate client  objectives  into channel strategy, budget allocation, flighting, and measurement design. • Own attribution planning, including foot traffic and closed-loop retail measurement where it applies (Gretel, Measurement Suite, Audience Intelligence). • Stay current on  the US  media landscape, supply availability, and  privacy/ regulatory constraints ( CCPA/CPRA and the expanding patchwork of US state privacy laws ). Platform & Solution Depth • Plan and  operate  across DSPs: The Trade Desk,  DV360 ,   and Amazon Ads. • Know the supply side: SSP landscape, inventory quality, and DOOH and CTV supply paths into  the US  market. • Deep command of US AdTech standards and IAB frameworks: ads.txt and  sellers.json , VAST, Open Measurement, MRC viewability and brand-safety standards, and the identity and privacy shifts reshaping US programmatic. • Pepare   paid social strategy across Meta, TikTok, and the platforms that matter  in the US market . • Use measurement and analytics platforms to set KPIs up front and prove outcomes at the end. • Working knowledge of identity and audience solutions ( LiveRamp  and similar). Profitability & Productization • Own campaign and  managed-service  margin. Scope, price, and structure work to hit profitability targets, not just spend targets. • Turn repeatable strategies into productized managed-service offerings the team can deliver efficiently and at scale. • Document  playbooks  so delivery does not depend on a single person’s memory. Win/Loss Tracking & Feedback Loop • Track every  proposal:  won, lost, the reason, the competitor where known, and the economics. • Run a structured feedback loop that pushes those outcomes back into the next round of strategy, pricing, and packaging. • Identify  the patterns behind wins and codify them.  Discard  what consistently loses. Client & Stakeholder Engagement • Present strategies, plans, and results to clients and internal leadership. The standard is senior, confident, and clear  — at parity with US-based peer s. • Partner closely with the US product, data engineering, and commercial teams , with  substantial   working-hours  overlap with  US  time zones . Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or  a related  field. • 6+ years in media planning and strategy with real programmatic depth. • In-depth knowledge of the US digital advertising ecosystem: IAB standards and best practices, the US programmatic supply chain, and current US privacy, identity, and measurement dynamics. • Hands-on DSP experience. You have built and  optimized  live programmatic campaigns, not just briefed them. • English at full professional  proficiency , written and spoken — non-negotiable for a US-client-facing role . • Strong presentation and storytelling skills .  You can hold a room and a screen share. • Demonstrated ownership of strategy end to end, including the commercial outcome. • Strong collaborator who works well across functions and time zones. Preferred Qualifications • Professional working  proficiency  in  Portuguese  and /or Spanish . • Experience servicing US clients or working with US-based teams from a nearshore/remote position. • Retail media and attribution background. • Experience productizing managed services or solutions, not just running campaigns. • Familiarity with agile or scrum delivery and the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence). Attributes & Professional Growth • Strong interest in operations best practices and bringing structure and rigor to planning, pricing, and delivery workflows. • Strong appetite for continuous learning and platform certifications. Relevant credentials expected, or obtainable within the first  90 days : • The Trade Desk Edge Academy • Meta Blueprint • Google (GA4 and Google Ads) • DV360 or equivalent DSP certification • IAB certification (e.g., Digital Media Buying and Planning, or Digital Ad Operations) 6-Month Success Criteria • A documented, repeatable planning and pricing approach  live  for  US accoun ts. • Managed-service  margin at or above target on owned accounts. • A live win/loss record with a feedback loop that has measurably improved win rate or proposal  quality. • At least one productized offering shipped and delivered  at  scale.
