Key Responsibilities: • Manage and administer NetApp ONTAP environments   (AFF/FAS systems, SAN/NAS configurations, Storage Virtual Machines). • Provision, configure, and maintain volumes, aggregates, and LUNs   based on business requirements. • Monitor and optimize performance of NetApp storage systems using   Active IQ Unified Manager , OnCommand System Manager, or CLI/API. • Maintain and manage   SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapCenter   for data replication, backup, and recovery. • Perform   firmware upgrades , patch management, and system expansion activities. • Implement and maintain   storage security , access controls, and data protection measures. • Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and performance issues. • Generate capacity planning reports and forecast storage needs. • Collaborate with VMware/Hyper-V, database administrators, and application teams to ensure seamless storage integration. • Maintain detailed   documentation   for configurations, processes, and procedures. • Participate in   disaster recovery planning and testing . • Support and continuously improve   multi-cluster NetApp environments . • Ensure compliance with   ITIL processes   for incident, change, and problem management. Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years   experience in enterprise storage administration. • Strong expertise in   NetApp ONTAP   (9.x or later) and NetApp hardware platforms. • Hands-on experience with   SAN/NAS   protocols: NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, FC. • Experience with   SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapCenter, MetroCluster . • Proficiency with NetApp administration tools (System Manager, Active IQ UM, OnCommand, CLI). • Knowledge of storage performance tuning and troubleshooting. • Familiarity with VMware datastores, Microsoft Failover Clustering, and Hyper-V integration with NetApp. • Experience in scripting for automation ( PowerShell ,   Python , or NetApp PowerShell Toolkit). • Understanding of data protection, backup/restore processes, and disaster recovery. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication skills for collaboration and documentation. Preferred Qualifications: • NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)   or   NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE)   certifications. • Familiarity with other storage platforms for heterogeneous environment support. • Knowledge of ITIL processes and tools like ServiceNow. • Experience working in regulated industries (Development, Media, financial, healthcare, government). Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Our most important asset is our People.
