Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll own the end-to-end technical blueprint of our enterprise HubSpot programs. Data models that survive 500k+ records, integrations into SAP and Dynamics that don't lose data when a third-party API goes down, security architectures that hold up under DSGVO scrutiny. You'll design it, defend it in front of CTO-level stakeholders, and ship it. As the dedicated IT architect, you close the gap between business consulting and engineering so the Director of Engineering can stay focused on strategy and hiring while you own the technical decisions.
A note on platforms. Thorit is a HubSpot Diamond Partner and our delivery work is HubSpot-centric. Great enterprise CRM architects, though, are great regardless of the platform they grew up on. If your background is Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 at the senior architect level, we want to talk to you.
We fund HubSpot Solutions Architect certification and pair you with a senior HubSpot architect on your first program. The expectation is that you ramp into HubSpot deeply within 6 months, not that you arrive pre-loaded.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You'll deliver the full technical architecture (data model, integration map, deployment topology, security model) for 4+ enterprise HubSpot programs of €150k+ each per year, at Director sign-off quality
- You'll define and maintain our CRM Integration Reference Architecture: event patterns, middleware standards, error handling, observability, idempotency
- You'll productise the HubSpot-to-ERP integration pattern as a reusable capability across SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and MS Navision
- You'll keep production data incidents at zero (data loss, auth failure, DSGVO breach) across the programs you own
- You'll review every architecture proposal from the engineering team and HubSpot Consultants before it reaches the client
- You'll establish the IT governance baseline for our HubSpot consulting engagements: sandbox-to-prod deployment pipeline, change management, environment strategy
- You'll act as our technical spokesperson in pre-sales for complex CRM programs alongside Sales and Senior Business Consulting
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves
- 5+ years architecting enterprise CRM platforms at scale (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics 365), with multi-entity, multi-pipeline, >100k records footprint. Strong fluency in CRM platform fundamentals: custom objects, associations, pipelines, permissions model, workflow limits, API rate limits, environment strategy
- Hands-on experience designing and shipping complex integrations between CRM and ERP, DWH, PIM, or MDM systems. Fluent in REST, GraphQL, webhooks, event-driven patterns, idempotency, retry strategies, dead-letter queues
- Production experience with at least one iPaaS (Workato, Make, Mulesoft, Boomi) or custom middleware in Node.js or Python
- Strong data architecture skills: relational and dimensional modelling, CRM data models that scale past 500k records, working knowledge of Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, and the ability to write non-trivial SQL
- Architecture-level fluency in DSGVO: OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, SSO, data residency, encryption at rest and in transit, audit logging, retention and deletion policies
- Confident technical presence in front of CTO-level stakeholders, with German and English at full business fluency
- Genuine excitement to ramp into deep HubSpot architecture mastery within your first 6 months. If you don't already hold the HubSpot Solutions Architect certification, you're motivated to earn it (we fund it) and pair with a senior HubSpot architect on your first program
Nice-to-haves
- Direct HubSpot architecture experience (Solutions Architect certification or equivalent production delivery on enterprise HubSpot programs)
- Cross-platform architecture experience (e.g., you've designed both Salesforce and HubSpot, or Dynamics and HubSpot, in production)
- Direct architectural exposure to SAP S/4HANA or Micro
