REPORTS TO GM EU JOB OVERVIEW COLORS has built a platform that creates a vibrant space for creatives to share their art. We’re seeking a Sr Social Media Manager (m/f/d) to lead the strategy and execution of our digital channels- aligning platform development, social media, and artist engagement to deliver a seamless and impactful community and audience engagement. In this cross-functional role, you’ll define and prioritize platform features, shape the social media roadmap, and ensure our digital presence amplifies both artistic visibility and audience growth. Furthermore, the role will play a key function in our artist relations department, to manage and engage with our artist community. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES • Define our Social Media strategy and roadmap for COLORS platforms, aligning with organizational goals and user needs to continue COLORS successful growth and engagement across all profiles and all content • Oversee and actively execute our social media strategy and execution across all platforms, ensuring brand consistency, timely rollouts, and artist alignment informed by performance data & community engagement • Align social media and platform goals to create a cohesive user journey across digital channels to drive discovery, community building, and audio consumption • Prioritize the platform's feature set based on user feedback, market research, and business objectives, and inspire the COLORS team with insights and expertise • Contribute to our Monthly Analytics Review by collaborating with all stakeholders to generate a monthly report on our performance across all platforms and suggest improvements, with a profound understanding of all relevant metrics • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and drive user engagement. • Provide hands-on mentoring and day-to-day guidance to the Junior Social Media Manager • Act as part of the Artist Relations team to ensure the platform supports artist development, visibility, and creative expression • Act as a bridge between artists and COLORS, incorporating artist feedback into platform features and audience engagement tools. • Support artist-facing initiatives across the platform, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment with content and release plans. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • 5+ years of experience in social media management or a related role, with a proven track record of driving growth, engagement, and strategic impact across platforms. • Existing network across key partners (Meta, TikTok, ..) • Experience working within a label or artist-focused environment, with a strong understanding of artist development and communication. • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and audience behavior, including best practices for content, community-building, and cross-platform storytelling. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across content, marketing, artist relations, and platform teams. • Excellent project management skills - organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. • Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and user insights to inform strategy and optimize execution. • Awareness of cultural trends and the evolving creator landscape, with the ability to translate them into relevant, impactful content strategies • Has an strong interest & passion for music and is attuned to both the COLORS brand and wider landscape of music, culture and lifestyle.
