Riyadh Sr. SAP MDG Consultant – On site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 12 month contract (Extendable) My client is currently looking for a Sr. SAP MDG Consultant on a 12 month contract (Extendable). Start Date: Immediate (will wait notice) Duration: 12 months (Extendable) Location: On site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant to join a large-scale SAP transformation programme based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising SAP MDG solutions to improve data quality, governance, and compliance across the enterprise. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to establish robust master data processes that support business operations and digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. • Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable master data governance processes. • Configure and customise SAP MDG to support governance for Material, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, and Financial master data. • Define and implement data governance frameworks, workflows, approval processes, and validation rules. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data quality, consistency, and compliance. • Support data migration, cleansing, harmonisation, and master data consolidation initiatives. • Integrate SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other enterprise systems. • Develop functional specifications and support technical development teams during implementation. • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support. • Create functional documentation, governance policies, and end-user training materials. • Provide guidance on master data strategy, governance best practices, and ongoing optimisation. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of SAP consulting experience. • Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP MDG implementation experience. • Strong expertise in SAP MDG for Material, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, and/or Financial master data. • Experience configuring SAP MDG data models, workflows, business rules, validations, and change request processes. • Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles and enterprise data governance. • Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, and related SAP solutions. • Familiarity with data migration, data quality, and data cleansing methodologies. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. • Fluent English is essential. Preferred Qualifications • SAP MDG certification is highly desirable. • Experience delivering large-scale SAP transformation or S/4HANA programmes. • Previous experience working in the Middle East is advantageous. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
