Are you ready to make an impact? West Monroe is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Technology & Experience practice in Costa Rica. This is a fully remote position where you will design, develop, and implement innovative Salesforce solutions that help clients modernize customer engagement and business operations. As a technical leader on project workstreams, you will collaborate with architects, consultants, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform, including emerging AI capabilities such as Agentforce. You will mentor team members, contribute to technical best practices, and help clients maximize the value of their Salesforce investments. What You Will Do Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs. Lead technical workstreams and deliverables on client engagements, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and project timelines. Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Develop integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and middleware technologies. Configure, extend, and support Salesforce Agentforce capabilities, helping clients implement AI-powered agents and conversational experiences that improve productivity and customer engagement. Collaborate with solution architects to evaluate opportunities for Agentforce, Einstein AI, and Salesforce automation features as part of broader digital transformation initiatives. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and promote Salesforce development best practices. Ensure solution quality through unit testing, documentation, and adherence to Salesforce development standards. Forecast technical risks, communicate issues proactively, and recommend practical solutions. Mentor junior developers and share technical expertise across project teams. Support business development activities through technical solutioning, effort estimation, and proposal contributions. Contribute reusable assets, accelerators, and development standards that strengthen the Salesforce practice. Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs. Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes. What You Will Bring 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs. Experience delivering Salesforce implementations within a consulting or professional services environment. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, data model, integration patterns, and development best practices. Experience developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and modern integration frameworks. Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, or other Salesforce AI capabilities, with an interest in building AI-enabled business solutions. Experience configuring or extending Agentforce, prompt templates, AI actions, or related Salesforce automation capabilities is preferred. Ability to independently manage technical workstreams while ensuring high-quality client deliverables. Experience performing code reviews, debugging complex issues, and implementing Salesforce development best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
