Description
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Sales Engineer where you will provide vital technical support to our sales team during pre-sales and customer expansion activities. You’ll act as the go-to technical resource for security assessments, RFPs, and pilot implementations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. Your insights will shape product strategies, ensuring our offerings align with market needs and customer feedback.
Primary Responsibilitiaes
● Lead technical aspects of pre-sales and customer discovery conversations, focusing on EHR integrated digital engagement solutions and clinical care pathway optimizations ● Provide pre-sales technical support to Sales team ● Manage technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, security assessments, and other requests ● Provide technical scoping, implementation, and success during initial pilot phases ● Act as a liaison between Sales, Product, Engineering, EHR and other internal teams ● Contribute to product strategy based on market insights and customer feedback
Qualifications
EHR analyst experience (Epic EHR certification desired)
BA/BS university degree in technical discipline
6 years of experience in technical pre-sales roles
Strong problem solving ability
Selling to customer needs
Refined presentation skills to variety of audiences (both technical and non-technical)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proven requirements analysis
General programming skills (desired)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Athena, etc.) and HIPAA security protocols
Background knowledge of genetic testing, NGS, and bioinformatic analysis preferred
Familiarity with SQL, JSON, Snowflake, AWS, HL7
Technical Expertise: Understanding of product's technical aspects; Explains complex concepts simply; Stays current with industry trends and competing technologies

Physical Demands & Work Environment
Duties are typically performed in an office setting and/or in the field

Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times
Travel up to 50% to meet with customer and team members
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
