Learn more at:  avathon.com   About the Role This is a high-impact role for an experienced accounting professional with strong technical expertise in revenue recognition and financial reporting. As Senior Revenue Accountant, you will oversee key revenue accounting processes, support month-end close activities, and help strengthen the systems, controls, and procedures that support Avathon's continued growth. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition, a strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS contracts, including contract review, allocation, and preparation of revenue schedules. Perform a variety of month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations, as well as consolidation and financial reporting Lead the continuous improvement, automation, and documentation of the Company’s accounting policies and procedures, while enhancing controls, improving data quality, and implementing best practices Coordinate the year-end external audit by responding to audit requests, fielding auditor inquiries, and assisting with financial statement preparation Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)  5-10 years of work experience Big 4 or Public accounting experience (preferred) Reviewing sales arrangements in conjunction with cross-functional departments and preparing ASC 606 revenue analysis to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards Developing internal policies and procedures related to revenue recognition and assist with the implementation and administration of revenue accounting systems Excellent Excel skills and ability to quickly learn new financial systems Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment Exceptional organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Sense of urgency, hands-on approach, and “go-getter” attitude   What are the benefits and  perks  at  Avathon ?   Our full-time employees and their loved ones will be supported with a competitive and comprehensive benefits package.
