As a Senior Regional Sales Manager in our Trauma division, you will play a critical role in shaping the performance, culture, and long-term success of a strategically important region in Northern Italy. This is a high-impact leadership role, designed for someone who thrives in complexity, leads with purpose, and knows how to build and elevate high-performing teams. What you will do You will take full ownership of your region, leading both people and business performance, while strengthening partnerships with healthcare professionals and delivering sustainable growth. • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team , fostering an inclusive and motivating environment • Own regional performance: sales, forecasting, pipeline development, and budget accountability • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and healthcare decision-makers (including KOLs) • Drive business growth through both existing accounts and new customer acquisition • Manage a complex ecosystem , including direct reports and indirect channels (agents and distributors) • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure excellent customer experience across the full order-to-cash cycle • Analyse performance data and implement targeted actions to improve results • Lead and embrace change, contributing to innovation, simplification, and scalability • Act as a role model within the broader leadership team , sharing best practices and supporting peers Your Region • Region: Northern Italy (Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Valle d’Aosta, Triveneto) • Location: Preferred base in Milano, Torino, Padova or Bologna • Travel: ~ 70% What makes this role different We are looking for a leader who can: • Stabilise, align, and elevate the team • Build on existing commercial strength with strong leadership and structure • Create a true team culture , not just individual performance What you need • 10+ years of overall professional experience • Proven track record of leading teams to deliver and exceed targets • Experience in complex, structured environments (multinational preferred) • Exposure to indirect channel management is a strong plus • Background in medical devices / orthopaedics is preferred , but we are open to leaders from other industries What will make you stand out • You lead with empathy and clarity , not ego • You are decisive, resilient, and accountable • You know how to motivate experienced teams , not just manage them • You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments • You bring a strategic mindset , but stay close to execution • You build trust quickly, with your team and with customers Additional requirements • Strong business and financial acumen • Excellent communication skills (Italian & English) • Experience with CRM systems and data-driven decision making • High integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical standards Our Trauma portfolio https://www.stryker.com/it/it/portfolios/medical-surgical-equipment/reconstructive-surgery/trauma.html Why join Stryker At Stryker, you will join a company where: • Leadership and people development are taken seriously • Performance is recognised and rewarded • Innovation is constant • You can build a long-term, meaningful career in healthcare At Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step. The compensation information posted for this role may be presented as a salary range or a fixed amount depending on the role. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for commission and/or bonus, along with Stryker’s comprehensive benefits package.
