As we continue our strategic growth plan through to 2030, we are now hiring experienced recruiters who want to build high value markets, drive business development, and contribute to the ongoing expansion of our UK, EU, and US Life Sciences divisions. Our headquarters opened in 2020 following significant investment from Ricky Martin and Lord Sugar. It is a modern, high spec, fully fitted environment designed to support collaboration, performance, and the future of STEM recruitment. This is a role for recruiters who enjoy winning new business, developing relationships at senior levels, and growing a specialist market with the support of a high performance team. Key Duties and Responsibilities Business Development and Market Growth Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across your specialist Life Sciences market Develop strong commercial relationships with decision makers and senior stakeholders Build out a defined niche market with long term revenue and client potential Represent HRS with professionalism and credibility within the STEM community Client and Candidate Management Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle within your desk Deliver a consultative service to clients based on insight and market understanding Attract, assess and manage high quality or hard to find talent Influence hiring decisions through strong communication and commercial awareness Ownership and Performance Drive your own desk growth with accountability for revenue and market development Deliver consistent high performance in line with HRS standards Contribute positively to the team culture and uphold the values of Passion, Innovation, Excellence and Tenacity Why Join HRS 1. Role Requirements We are looking for recruiters who can demonstrate: Proven success in an agency and 360 environment A strong track record of business development and consistent revenue generation Experience placing professional contractors or niche, highly qualified permanent talent Commercial experience outside of public sector frameworks Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships A proactive, ambitious mindset and a commitment to continuous development Experience in STEM recruitment is beneficial but not essential Opportunities are available across permanent and contract desks, with potential to specialise in the UK, EU, or US markets depending on your background.
