Job Title Senior Quantity Surveyor Summary We are recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction business on a major data centre project in Norway. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong expertise in contractual and financial project management. You’ll play a key part in ensuring success while working on high-value complex projects with an international team. Salary €90,000 per year Location and Working Pattern Norway – On-site Client Overview Our client is an established engineering and construction organisation, recognised for delivering innovative projects worldwide. Responsibilities Take ownership of the commercial strategy and ensure compliance across all contracts Lead procurement activities including tenders, subcontract selection and order management Prepare and present cash flow forecasts, cost projections and valuations Manage and agree on variations and final accounts in a timely manner Maintain accurate project risk and opportunity registers Handle dispute resolution, claims preparation, and stakeholder representation Provide guidance and mentorship to Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors Ensure accurate commercial and contractual reporting to senior management Must-have Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Proven experience with design and build contracts, high-value projects and complex frameworks Strong commercial acumen and cost management expertise Ability to interpret and apply contract law and manage contractual risks Proficiency in procurement management and financial reporting Training in dispute resolution and contract law Strong leadership and communication skills Nice-to-have Skills Chartered membership of RICS, CIOB or an equivalent body Experience with NEC or JCT forms Continuous professional development in commercial management and industry trends Benefits Competitive salary package Opportunity to manage prestigious international projects Professional development and career progression within a dynamic organisation Apply Now If you’re ready to take on a leadership role in a rewarding and challenging environment, we’d love to hear from you.
