Enactor systems drive the in-store, mobile and online channels that make up a modern retail organisation. With the expansion of our team in Sri Lanka we are looking for Senior QA Engineers for our all our Offices in Sri Lanka. This is your opportunity to live, work and earn in GBP! Profile • You must have an outstanding academic and industrial track record with a recognised degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline; • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Good communication, interpersonal and team working skills. Most of all you must have a passion for developing high quality software. Qualification & Experience • At least 5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in Retail applications. • Extensive knowledge of testing techniques and procedures. • Good understanding of the software development process including Agile methods. • Use of Jira or equivalent issue tracking systems. • Knowledge in BDD driven automation test scripting (Java, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber) knowledge in SQL queries, executing, maintaining and monitoring test suites in different windows / Linux platforms , manual / automation test design techniques. • Previous hands on experience in automation framework development will be an added advantage. Responsibilities • Writing manual/automation test scripts to test software developed in-house. • Logically re-testing issues to recreate and pin-point defects and to be able to explain and document the issue in detail, enabling developers to fix the issue. • Bug monitoring and control - creating, updating and closing defects. • Set up and maintenance of test environments. • Producing test reports detailing results. • Liaising and clearly communicating with other team members, the development team and other internal stakeholders.
