About The Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Architect to help evolve our test automation capabilities from primarily AV-sync testing into broader Audio Quality (AQ) coverage across Roku TVs, soundbars, and headphones. You'll partner closely with the team lead to architect and advance our automation ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven innovation through our internal initiatives.
This role is best suited for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person who thrives in fast-paced environments. You should be comfortable working through ambiguity and adaptable enough to navigate evolving priorities while consistently delivering high-quality results.
For Denmark Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between DKK 644000 - DKK 839,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. About The Team
We work with everything audio at Roku — Audio Quality Assurance (AQA), AV-sync testing, and wireless audio validation. Our team is a collection of Software Engineers and Electrical Technicians who love making solutions on how to test things. If there isn't a solution to a testing problem, we make it — both hardware and software. One of the things we're known for is our huge system setups for testing audio across TVs, soundbars, and headphones.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and implement test analysis systems that identify quality gaps, predict failure patterns, and optimize test effectiveness
Design systems that collect, analyse and act on the testing data to continuously improve on the quality processes
Leverage AI-powered tools to implement test automation, failure analysis, root cause identification
Establish new methodologies for measuring and improving test quality beyond simple pass/fail metrics, focusing on regression prevention and production reliability
Define and implement architectural patterns that make testing more effective, maintainable, and aligned with business impact
Systematic regression tracking and implementing process to prevent regression reoccurrence
We're Excited If You Have
Expertise with test architecture and automation systems design.
Programming experience across multiple languages, Python a must.
Expertise in test automation with embedded systems in the loop.
Proven track record in driving test transformation: Experience leading initiatives that significantly improved test effectiveness and reduced production issues
AI expertise for testing: Ability to design, implement, and optimize solutions leveraging AI tools, and predictive analytics for quality assurance
Knowledge of continuous integration tools (Jenkins/GitLab, TeamCity, AWS) and their optimisation for quality gates
Advanced test analysis skills: Experience with test flakiness analysis, failure pattern recognition, and
