The Role Phasor Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Project Management Office, this position is responsible for leading the successful delivery of Transmission Line and Substation engineering projects from initiation through completion. Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams, the Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, quality, and client communication. This role is ideal for an experienced project leader who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment and is passionate about delivering complex utility infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of Transmission Line and Substation engineering projects. Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and overall financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships through regular communication and project updates. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, drafting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and field services. Monitor project milestones and proactively identify and mitigate risks or scheduling conflicts. Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, distribute meeting minutes, and ensure action items are completed. Coordinate project documentation, technical deliverables, document control, change management, and project reporting. Track project financials, including forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing support, and contract administration. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements, applicable engineering standards, and Phasor's Quality Management System. Provide technical guidance and project leadership while supporting collaboration across multiple departments. Support proposal development, project planning activities, and business development initiatives as required. Promote and maintain Phasor's commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
