Position Overview: The Senior Project Manag er drives partnership development and stakeholder engagement to adva nce New York City’s economic growth goals. As part of the Partnership department an d reporting to the Vice President , Strategic Partnerships, this role spans a wide range of NYCEDC verticals, including real estate, workforce development, large-scale events activation, industry growth , and economic justice and requires collaboration across internal teams and external partners. The Senior Project Manager also plays a central role in the Inter national Portfolio , which manages relationships between NYCEDC and international stakeholders by creating awareness of NYCEDC’s priorities, ident ifying mutually beneficial opportunities, developing strategic partnerships , and attracting businesses and foreign direct investment (FDI) to New York City.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead project planning and tracking, and coordinate cross-functional project teams, to ensure objectives are achieved and timelines are met.
Manage a portfolio of partnership programs, including the International Landing Pad Network, tracking project milestones, driving program excellence through operators, reporting on metrics, impact, and financial performance, and managing stakeholder relationships
Build and maintain relationships across NYCEDC and with external stakeholders, including corporates, incubators, accelerators, academia, and workforce development organizations – to create awareness of NYCEDC programs and identify collaboration opportunities.
Collaborate with the Business Development team to support soft-landing services for clients including workforce development, ecosystem connections, and procurements
Support the Vice President across the full partnership and procurement lifecycle, from designing frameworks and proposals based on analysis of a prospective partner's mission, objectives, capacity, and alignment with NYCEDC's priorities, through procurement drafting, outreach, due diligence, respondent selection, contracting and underwriting documentation, and supervision of implementation.
Manage cross-departmental and cross-agency projects, ensuring objectives are achieved; actively monitor and track progress using appropriate tools to ensure timelines are met
Draft and deliver presentations and memoranda for key stakeholders including the President’s Office, Senior Staff, City Hall, partner agencies, and external partners.
Develop and deliver presentations to senior internal stakeholders, including NYCEDC's President's Office, and a broad range of external stakeholders.

Represent NYCEDC at industry conferences, networking events, trade missions, stakeholder gatherings, and business meetings to promote NYC as a destination for business growth and investment
