Job Responsibilities
Project Strategy & Lifecycle Management
• Design implementation roadmaps : Develop comprehensive project plans, key milestones, and operational frameworks.
• Integrate cross-cutting dimensions : Embed social equity, gender inclusion, and economic sustainability directly into the project lifecycle.
• Manage end-to-end delivery : Direct the execution of small to large-scale research, education, or field operations.
• Evaluate project outcomes : Conduct post-project reviews to extract lessons learned, archiving critical institutional knowledge.
Grant, Budget, & Compliance Control
• Oversee project expenditures : Manage complex multi-currency budgets, ensuring strict alignment with financial forecasts.
• Enforce donor compliance : Ensure all operational activities conform to legal contribution agreements and organization regulations.
• Facilitate procurement processes : Draft technical requirements for supplier selection and evaluate performance metrics.
• Secure alternative funding : Author high-quality technical proposals and bids to expand organizational funding sources.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
• Liaise with partners : Maintain strategic relationships with executive leadership, government agencies, and field partners.
• Formulate communication mechanisms : Build structured reporting pathways to update external donors on milestones.
• Represent the organization : Pitch project models at international forums or local public roundtables to advocate for the cause.
Risk Mitigation & Quality Assurance
• Anticipate implementation bottlenecks : Identify macro-level environmental, political, and operational risks before they halt progress.
• Deploy contingency frameworks : Advise senior leadership on timely corrective measures to maximize beneficiary safety.
• Maintain delivery standards : Establish strict quality assurance protocols so field deliverables match international quality indices.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree holder from a globally recognised university
• 10-15 years of relevant experience gained from large NGOs, public bodies or government
• Open for candidates from top-tier management consulting firms or investment banking who aspire to switch their career to the non-profit sector
• Excellent command of Chinese and English (written and verbal)
