Discover your exciting role
As a Senior Project Engineer (m/f/d), you are responsible for the independent planning of manufacturability, design, and optimization for the ramp-up of series components, as well as ensuring the cost-efficient and high-quality execution of series projects and components in production. In this role, you make a significant contribution to increasing efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the further development of processes and quality standards, as well as supporting the acquisition of new projects.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
• Planning and engineering of series components, including technical design and support during implementation, ensuring products and processes are ready for series production
• Preparation of cost calculations, quotations, and technical evaluations, including manufacturability assessments
• Responsibility for optimizing manufacturing and process costs, as well as reducing lead times from an economic perspective
• Handling of complaints and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Ensuring, maintaining, and further developing the quality management system
• Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration with design, procurement, production, logistics, and quality assurance
• Supporting existing customers and actively developing new customer relationships
Show your expertise
• Completed degree in Process Engineering, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Strong expertise in project management and project execution; project management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2) is an advantage
• Solid technical know-how in plant engineering, ideally including stainless steel piping systems
• Knowledge of welding and process engineering (e.g., for gases and media)
• Experience with quality and safety standards; knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is desirable
• Structured, process- and solution-oriented working style with a high level of personal responsibility
• Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a clear customer focus
• Very good written and spoken English skills
