Description
Bragi was founded in 2013 and launched the world's first Truly Wireless Earphones in 2015 (yes, a whole 12 months before the Airpods...) Since then, we have evolved from a promising startup to a market-moving creator of innovative technology, opening the new category of Truly Wireless Earphones. Bragi transformed into a software enabler for consumer brands, focusing on scaling its technology after investing more than $90 million in software and AI. Now we are a leader in the AI headphone space, known for our smart devices that integrate seamlessly into users' lives. With a focus on innovation and user experience, we are driving the evolution of wearable technology. Senior Product Owner You'll own delivery for a cross-functional squad (5–10 people) working at the intersection of embedded/mobile software and AI-driven audio. This isn't just backlog management; you're the gatekeeper between what gets promised and what the team can actually deliver, and the owner of requirement quality before work ever hits a sprint. This is a remote role, but you are welcome to join us in the Munich office What you will be working on • Drive AI-audio feature delivery end-to-end, whether through your own contribution, strategic partners, or third-party developers on our app store • Act as the single intake point for new work, gating commitments on capacity sign-off before dates go external, and escalating when roadmap and customer priorities compete for the same team • Own backlog quality against a real Definition of Ready (acceptance criteria, user journeys, domain sign-off), with requirements locked and versioned rather than edited after the fact • Partner with your PM to turn roadmap and priorities into a realistic execution plan grounded in actual team capacity and milestones • Govern cross-team and partner dependencies by coordinating with other POs and setting acceptance criteria for intake streams (internal components, firmware, hardware, or similar) feeding your releases • Run a real go/no-go release gate together with release management, pushing quality left through a living Definition of Done and developers who smoke-test, so QA isn't the only line of defense • Surface risk early and keep delivery transparent and predictable What you will need • 5+ years as a PO or Delivery Lead, shipping complex enterprise-grade software in a scaled agile setup with multiple scrum teams • Experience delivering complex embedded or mobile products with strong agile fluency • Proven ability to lead 5–10 person cross-functional teams (mobile development, cloud engineers, QA, UI-UX ) with clear, confident communication • Comfort making calls in ambiguity, autonomously, in a remote working setup • Strong track record of pushing back on commitments made without capacity sign-off, and negotiating trade-offs across stakeholders • Experience owning technical dependencies end-to-end — from internal handoffs to external partners (components, firmware, hardware, or similar) • Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality Nice to have • Audio industry background • Applied AI/ML experience, or a broader ML/AI background • Embedded, IoT , or wearables experience • Startup, founder, or side-hustle background • Background as an Embedded or Mobile developer What we offer • A complex project that is exceptionally challenging and will change how audio is consumed forever • Work hand in hand with worldwide-known audio brands • A chance to deliver a delightful experience to 25m+ users in the next 12 months (existing base is 10m+) • A flexible Learning & Development program, choose where you want to improve yourself • If you are in Munich and would like to work from the office, you can enjoy on-site perks such as breakfast and lunch, as well as regular social events. For remote colleagues, we also offer a range of virtual activities • Work from where suits you best • 10 professional coaching sessions with experts to support your growth • Work from where suits you best with flexible working hours
