Description
PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER, MENTO
ABOUT MENTO
Mento is a performance coaching platform on a mission to increase human potential at global scale and help people — and companies — grow.
We believe coaching is one of the most powerful ways to unlock meaningful professional growth. We also believe the future of coaching is human + AI: deeply human where trust, judgment, and connection matter most, and intelligently augmented where technology can make coaching more measurable, actionable, and scalable.
Mento pairs leaders with top operators in their field for 1:1 coaching and mentorship, supported by Moments, our AI intelligence layer that turns coaching into real-time insight.
Our customers include Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, 1Password, Brex, Whatnot, Gusto, and Hims & Hers. We’re backed by leading investors including Slow Ventures, M13, and Twelve Below.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own the product narrative, launch strategy, and adoption motion for Mento’s AI-powered coaching platform.
This is a hands-on, high-impact PMM role at an early-stage company. You’ll shape how we explain what we’re building, why it matters, and how customers get value from it — across two connected audiences: the HR and L&D leaders who buy coaching solutions, and the coaches and members who experience Mento every day.
You’ll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Coaching, Design, and Growth to bring new capabilities to market, equip customer-facing teams, translate customer insight into sharper positioning, and help customers understand the value of human coaching enhanced by AI.
The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller, strong operator, and customer-obsessed product marketer who can create structure in ambiguity, write with clarity and taste, and move fluidly between strategy and execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own Mento’s product narrative. Define positioning and messaging for Mento’s AI-powered coaching platform in a way that connects our coaching philosophy, AI capabilities, customer outcomes, and market differentiation. Help shape how Mento talks about AI externally with nuance, clarity, and conviction. You can help customers understand that nuance in a way that feels ambitious, credible, and clear.
- Lead launches that drive enduring engagement. Own launch planning for new product capabilities from strategy through execution, including messaging, internal readiness, customer education, external communications, enablement, and post-launch engagement that drive understanding, engagement, and usage.
- Turn coaching expertise into compelling product stories. Partner closely with Coaching to translate Mento’s methodology, member experience, and customer outcomes into use cases, proof points, customer-facing materials, and narratives that help buyers and users understand what makes Mento different.
- Equip customer-facing teams. Create the decks, talk tracks, one-pagers, FAQs, objection handling, demo narratives, competitive positioning, and enablement materials that help Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, and Coaching explain the product clearly and commercially to our end users.
- Drive adoption and expansion. Connect product magic to help customers, coaches, and members get more value from Mento over time. Create use-case guides, ROI narratives, lifecycle messaging, customer proof, and “why now” stories that support engagement, renewal, and expansion.
- Bring customer and market insight into GTM and Product strategy. Synthesize customer conversations, field feedback, usage data, win/loss insights, and competitive signals to refine positioning, identify adoption barriers, influence roadmap conversations, and sharpen go-to-market and product strategy.
- Partner with Growth on content and campaigns. Set the audience, narrative, and strategic direction for product-related content and campaigns. Own the core messaging and source materia
