As Glance scales in Japan, we're looking for a Senior Market Product Manager to be the voice of the Japanese consumer inside our product organisation. You'll own parts of the Japan product roadmap — shaping what we build, how we localise it, and how we launch it across our Mobile and connected-TV surfaces. You'll also set the experience bar for Japan, overseeing and commissioning the UX research and design that keep our product grounded in real user needs. This role blends deep consumer empathy with sharp execution, working closely with global product, design, and engineering in Bangalore while owning the market perspective in Tokyo. What will you be doing?   Own parts of the Japan product roadmap — defining priorities, shaping requirements, and making sure what we build fits the local market Be the voice of the Japanese consumer: bring deep user empathy and turn local insight into clear product direction Lead product launches in Japan end to end, coordinating across global product, engineering, design, growth, and partnerships Set the experience bar for Japan — overseeing design quality and commissioning UX research (via HQ teams or local partners) to validate key decisions Localise and adapt the global product for Japan, from features and content to flows that match local expectations and behaviours Use research, data, and market signals to prioritise, measure launch impact, and iterate Key Requirements:   Around 7–10 years in product management, with a track record of owning roadmap and shipping consumer products Deep consumer empathy and a strong intuition for what makes a product resonate with users — ideally proven in the Japan market Experience leading product launches end to end in a cross-functional environment A user-centric approach: able to scope research questions, interpret findings, and hold a high bar for design quality, while partnering with researchers and designers to execute Experience influencing senior internal and external stakeholders Preferred Requirements: Experience as a market or regional PM localising a global product for Japan Background in mobile consumer apps at scale, ideally with a commerce or content component Familiarity with UX research methods and working alo
