Description
We believe that communication belongs to everyone. TextNow is redefining how people connect by combining simplicity, intelligence, and accessibility. We’re a team of curious builders using technology to make communication more affordable and powerful for millions of users every day.
Free has to keep getting better. Monetization has to feel fair. And there’s a much larger TextNow ahead of us than the one we’ve built so far.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape that future.
What You'll Do
You’ll lead a customer-facing product area at TextNow. Scope will be defined at offer and calibrated to your strengths alongside the company’s highest-impact opportunities. We craft roles around leaders — not the other way around.
You’ll own strategy and outcomes for your area, partner directly with company leadership, and ship products that move us closer to our mission of democratizing phone service.
You’ll be expected to:
Own product strategy, roadmap, execution, and outcomes for a key product area
Identify meaningful customer problems and translate them into impactful solutions
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Leadership teams
Make high-quality decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Drive experimentation, prioritization, and iteration using both qualitative and quantitative inputs
Balance customer experience, business impact, and technical realities
Build systems and workflows that leverage AI as part of how products and teams operate
Ship quickly, learn continuously, and raise the bar for product thinking across the company
You Will Be a Match If
You build for users, not at them, and consistently identify meaningful customer problems
You thrive in ambiguous environments and can make thoughtful decisions before consensus forms
You have strong product instincts and high standards for quality and execution
You’ve shipped products scrappily and understand the measurable impact of your work
You know how to prioritize effectively and communicate tradeoffs clearly
You care deeply about outcomes, learning, and continuous improvement
You elevate the people around you and work collaboratively across functions
How the Team Operates
Outcomes matter more than output
Customer insight guides decisions, while metrics validate direction
AI is integrated into how we work, not just the tools we use
Teams operate with transparency and close partnership
We value speed, ownership, and building over bureaucracy
You Might Be a Good Fit If
4+ years of product management experience owning a defined product area end-to-end
Proven track record delivering large-scale initiatives impacting millions of consumers
Experience building B2C mobile products, ideally involving subscriptions, in-app purchases, advertising, or trust & safety
Strong analytical and experimentation skills, with experience making decisions in evolving environments
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Fluency with AI — from building workflows to creating scalable systems and operating models
Strong product instincts paired with operational rigor and execution speed
Your First 90 Days
First 30 Days
Build context. Develop a deep understanding of your product area, customers, business model, and opportunities. Form a strong point of view on what matters most.
By 90 Days
Ship something meaningful that drives measurable impact and generates learnings for the business and team.
