Description
At Senra Systems, we believe that the future of manufacturing lies not in automation, but in configuration.
We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of mission-critical factory software that powers complex, real-world manufacturing processes.
In this role, you will work directly with operators, technicians, engineers, and leadership to understand how physical processes function and how information that drives and enables those processes is generated, consumed and leveraged. You will use this knowledge to design software systems that improve reliability, throughput, and visibility, reduce complexity, and leverages automation to assure we create reliable, repeatable, scalable, efficient, effective, high quality operations that leverages the power of AI and automation to enable world class operations. You’ll operate in a lean environment where ownership, systems thinking, and execution depth are essential.
This is a hands-on product role with direct impact on how our factory operates and scales.
What you'll own:
End-to-end ownership of internal factory software initiatives from discovery through delivery, training, and iteration
Translating ambiguous operational challenges into clearly defined, structured, and build-ready software requirements
Leading requirements gathering and cross-functional working sessions with sales, quoting, order management, manufacturing, production , quality, supply chain, logistics, and engineering stakeholders
Converting physical workflows into scalable efficient, automated digital systems
Defining detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Driving forward momentum across initiatives to ensure software engineering always has clear, actionable work , and the business is engaged, participating, trained and consuming capabilities as they are deployed to assure we are getting the desired business benefits from the efforts spent to create the system.
Anticipating system interactions, data dependencies, and edge cases before development begins
Balancing business urgency with technical constraints and long-term system integrity
Establishing measurable success criteria based on factory goals and evaluating product performance post-launch, and track and report on business benefits realized through system features and capabilities.
What you'll bring to the team:
5+ years of Product Management experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or operationally complex environments
Experience building software that supports physical processes (manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, industrial systems, ERP, or similar domains)
Strong systems thinking with the ability to reason through multi-process environments and upstream/downstream dependencies
Proven ability to distill ambiguous problems into structured, complete, and actionable requirements
Demonstrated ownership and proactive drive in lean or fast-paced environments
Experience collaborating across varying technical levels, translating between factory operators, business stakeholders, and engineers
Comfort discussing technical tradeoffs, data flows, and architecture-level considerations with engineering teams
