Description
OUR MISSION AND WHY IT MATTERS
We are on a mission to make humans the strongest security layer.
Human risk remains one of the biggest vulnerabilities and traditional awareness training is not enough. We take a different approach by combining AI-driven personalization, real threat detection, and behavioral science to actively protect people and organizations.
We don't just simulate risks. We build the tools that detect and stop them.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
In this role, you will shape how product analytics are done in a fast-growing, multi-product cybersecurity SaaS company with over 4 million end users. By acting as a player-coach—spending the vast majority of your time on hands-on individual contributor work while leading a team of three analysts—you will level up the team’s capabilities. Your work will transition our product analytics by bringing in experience and knowledge of SaaS product analytics that will directly impact product decisions and product strategy, and enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN AND DRIVE
- Lead the Product Analytics team, guiding members in SaaS product analytics methodologies while maintaining a 90% focus on hands-on IC work
- Partner with Product Managers and product teams to conduct complex analyses that guide data-driven decision-making across all our products
- Collaborate with the commercial organization to deliver high-impact insights for our largest enterprise customers
- Improve and develop our core product analytics infrastructure, instrumentation, and team processes
- Drive the team's transition from reactive request handling towards more proactive, outcome-oriented analytics
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In your first 3 months you’ll get to know our products deeply, build strong collaborative relationships with Product Managers, and identify key improvement areas in our product analytics domain.
By month 6 you’ll successfully guide the team in a clear direction, level up our SaaS product analytics skills and capabilities and establish workflows that move the team from reactive mode of operation towards more proactive outcome-oriented projects.
WHAT MAKES YOU THRIVE HERE
You have:
- At least 5 years of experience in the industry with a proven technical background in SaaS product analytics, ideally in companies with millions of end users or thousands of customer organizations
- Deep, hands-on proficiency in SQL, Python programming, analytics engineering (such as dbt and data warehouses), and product analytics instrumentation
- An outcome-oriented mindset where you are opinionated about metrics, know when not to do something, and focus heavily on decisions rather than just producing deliverables
- Pragmatism, intellectual honesty under pressure, and a high comfort level with ambiguity and self-direction
BONUS POINTS IF YOU ALSO:
- Bring direct experience working within a Product-Led Growth (PLG) business model
- Have previously built instrumentation or an event taxonomy completely from scratch
- Have a proven interest in and ability to act as a supportive team lead
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role sits within our highly collaborative, fast-paced, three-person Product Analytics team which balances urgent customer needs with large-scale, proactive product analyses. We value pragmatism, intellectual honesty, and a genuine curiosity about how our users interact with our products. In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of functions and teams, collaborating closely with Product Managers, development teams, data teams, and the commercial organization.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
- Compensation: We offer a market-competitive monthly salary based on your experience, skills, and impact, aligned with our internal leveling framework.
- Working ways: We work in a flexible, but hybrid work setting. You are expected to visit the Helsinki office at least 2-3 days per week.
- High performance
