How You'll Have Impact at Kinder's:
You will play a key role supporting Kinder’s by designing, implementing, optimizing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes
What You'll Be Doing:
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Sr. Process Engineer to assist in development, control, and documentation of food manufacturing process to assure we produce top quality food with consistency
Develop and optimize production processes in partnership with co-manufacturers
Identify inconsistencies and assist in continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions
Travel to co-manufacturing sites to support trial and first production activities
Support onboarding of new co-manufacturers including process transfer and validation
Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to drive data-based decisions
What You Bring to the Table:
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field)
Strong problem solving and data analysis skills, outside the box thinking
Willingness and ability to travel (50%)
5-7 years experience in process engineering or food manufacturing
Personal Characteristics:

Self-Starter that requires minimal oversight with an ability to problem solve, manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Very strong organizational skills and an extremely disciplined approach to database and documentation management

Accustomed to changing priorities and a high tempo, dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a great attitude to support a high growth company
Location & Pay Transparency
This position will be based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA. Additionally, it will involve 50% travel; predominantly in the U.S. The expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000–$130,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance, and business needs. SEASONED FOR SUCCESS:
