ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  include but are not limited to:   Supports and demonstrates IMA Select’s core values   Values and understands the importance of diversity, equality, and inclusion among all IMA associates   Responsib ility  for daily account servicing and client advisement needs  including but not limited to handling client and insurance company inquiries, processing daily carrier downloads, obtaining daily notifications and alerts from carrier websites, maintaining accurate account information in agency management system, claims advising, endorsements, evidence of insurance, auto ID cards, etc.   Cultivate s  and maintain s  excellent communication and relationships with clients and insurance carriers   Interact s  professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person   Develop s  remarketing strateg ies  in accordance with client servicing standards and market changes   Responsib ility  for managing renewal process on assigned book of business including preparation of pre-renewal summary, online quoting via carrier rating platforms and comparative rater, reviewing quotes and negotiating terms and premiums, preparing final quotes and proposals for delivery to client, binding coverage, and issuing renewal invoices, etc.   Participate s  in conference calls and/or periodic in-person client meetings to ensure assets are adequately protected   Assist s  with the onboarding and training of new associates   Serve s  as a subject matter expert and provide s  technical expertise to staff   Participate s  in cross-selling new or adding additional lines of coverage or services on existing accounts   Responsib ility  for following up on accounts receivable items in accordance with IMA Accounts Receivable Policy   Attend s  education classes in combination with individual study programs to expand technical coverage knowledge     REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS  include but are not limited to:   Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment   Ability to work independently regarding matters of significance   Ability to manage accounts with increased complexity   Ability to analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations   Ability to think strategically   Knowledge of policy forms and endorsements   Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills   Math skills required, involving familiarity with ratios, percentages, discounts, and commissions   Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products   Minimum 5 years of similar or related experience   Property and Casualty license required for state of business and must fulfill continuing education requirement to retain license     COMPETENCIES & TRAITS:   Professionalism   Self-Direction   Manage Client Relationships   Problem Solving     The anticipated posting timeline for this opportunity is 7/21/2026-8/21/2026 #LI-JS1 Salary Range $60,000 — $80,000 USD Compensation & Benefits Being a part of IMA has its benefits.
