Where You'll Come In As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and internal platforms that power production systems at scale. You will work closely with engineering teams across geographies to improve reliability, security, automation, and deployment velocity. This is a hands on, senior level role requiring strong technical depth and the ability to operate independently. What you'll do • Developing and maintaining custom software solutions • Working with different technologies, including GCP, AWS (primarily Cloud Functions) and web development • Designing, coding, implementing, and testing applications • Creating documentation and ensuring the security and integrity of software applications • Automating business processes through custom code • Daily code pushes Requirements • 6–9+ years of experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps / SRE • Hybrid role - requires 3 days in the office • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platform) • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred) • Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) • Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and distributed systems • Experience managing production-grade systems • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment Some of our Perks • Private healthcare plan w/parental insurance • 25 days PTO (Sick, holiday and vacation) + 11 Company Holidays • A transparent pay structure with a clear path to promotion Understanding the interview journey • An initial screening interview • A technical interview (pairing - code challenge, case studies and/or hypothetical questions about how you would solve certain challenges) • An interview with the team pertinent to your role • A culture and values interview • Offer Letter sent via email (or a decline with feedback) Who We Are Tensure is a modern tech consultancy that tackles Cloud, Applications, and Data with open-handed expertise.
