About eiGroup
At eiGroup, we believe ideas can change industries - but only if they are nurtured with structure, science, and courage.
We’re an R&D and Innovation Venture Studio that transforms human ingenuity into technological value that scales.
Our ecosystem brings together researchers, engineers, and creators who turn complex challenges into scalable products - from subsurface imaging to AI-driven analytics, from remote sensing to digital transformation.
Our ventures are built in-house, born from research, and grown into independent companies.
Together, we’re shaping how innovation takes root in this region - and how it reaches the world.
What You’ll Do
1. Existing Scope (Petrophysics-Focused Responsibilities)
• Lead domain-driven development of digital tools and workflows for petrophysics challenges, including log interpretation automation, missing-log prediction, anomaly detection, and reservoir layer quality assessment.
• Work closely with clients to understand pain points in petrophysical workflows and translate them into actionable digital solutions.
• Oversee reservoir characterization workflows, LWD-related automation, and advanced predictive modelling in the petrophysics domain.
• Provide domain assurance across tools developed by the data science and engineering teams, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Validate results, ensure model quality, and provide technical acceptance of delivered functionalities.
• Contribute to design and refinement of petrophysical algorithms, QC processes, and automated interpretation methodologies.
2. Future Scope (Geology & Reservoir Engineering Responsibilities)
• Drive the development of digital automation tools for geology and reservoir engineering, including geological procedure automation, integration across subsurface domains, and workflows for simulation data access/management.
• Scope backlog items for geology/RE activities, ensuring alignment with client needs and long-term product vision.
• Support development of tools involving geological modelling, simulation case handling, reservoir properties prediction, and domain-integrated interpretation.
• Ensure technical consistency between petrophysics, geology, and reservoir engineering products to deliver holistic subsurface solutions.
• Provide domain input on reservoir engineering concepts (classical RE, material balance, well/reservoir response understanding, etc.) when shaping future modules.
3. Client Interaction & Project Leadership
• Maintain continuous communication with clients, understand their business challenges, and translate requirements into digital product scopes.
• Lead scoping workshops, perform domain research, and develop solution proposals aligned with client expectations.
• Break complex business problems into structured, development-ready tasks for data science/software engineering teams.
• Provide domain oversight throughout development sprints, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and business relevance of delivered features.
• Support quality assurance and acceptance testing of domain-related components.
• Help identify new opportunities, propose enhancements, and contribute to long-term product strategy and scalability.
4. Internal Leadership, Vision & Growth
• Mentor junior domain specialists and support their technical development.
• Actively contribute to the product vision, roadmap design, and strategic direction for future domain-driven services.
• Work with management to explore new directions, client accounts, and partnership opportunities for business scale-up.
• Drive a high-energy, forward-pushing culture—motivating team members and ensuring clear planning of long, mid, and short-term objectives.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and agile delivery cycles within a dynamic development environment.
5. Documentation, Reporting & Communication
• Prepare high-quality presentations, guidance documents, and quick analytical reports for both internal and client stakeholders.
• Communicate domain concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Present solutions, findings, and project progress in a structured, confident, and professional manner.
