Description
About Visma and the Group People function Visma empowers 2.6 million customers across Europe and Latin America with software that automates mission-critical business processes. We're a community of entrepreneurs spanning 160 companies and 15,500 employees, where one size rarely fits all. Our Group People function is a lean team of specialists, each owning a dedicated area such as employee engagement, comp & benefits, L&D, or internal communications. We work across the Group to develop scalable people practices and facilitate an engaged, forward-leaning and business-driven People & HR community. We connect the dots and share what works, while execution stays with the companies themselves. As Visma continues to scale through acquisitions and navigate AI disruption, we are looking to strengthen the team with a senior profile who brings real, hands-on experience in change management and leadership development. And can translate strategy into practices that hold up commercially across our entrepreneurial network of different companies. Your role As Senior People Operations Manager, you will use your hands-on, operational experience to develop scalable best practices, materials, and training sessions for leaders and HRs, as well as assist companies hands-on when needed. You report to the People Director and are part of the Group People team. This is an individual contributor role, meaning you will drive impact through influence and collaboration rather than through direct reports. This role is both strategic and operational. You will play a key role in defining what good looks like, build the frameworks that make it practical, and drive real adoption across 160 companies. What you will do Be go-to expert on change management. Build the tools, frameworks, and sessions that help people professionals and leaders navigate organisational change and contribute to how Visma navigates AI-driven change. Turn what's working into frameworks others can use. Spot what's succeeding across companies, and develop it into practical tools, guides, and sessions into something People professionals and leaders can put to work without reinventing the wheel each time. Run projects end to end. Scope, coordinate across companies and stakeholders, maintain momentum, and ensure initiatives are adopted not just delivered. Build relationships with senior stakeholders. Share insights on key people topics and build trust across the Group. Who are we looking for You have run change in practice, not just designed it on paper. You've owned a people process or transformation end to end, and know firsthand what separates initiatives that stick from those that don't. You already use AI in your own work. Concrete tools and use cases, not just interest in the topic, including a practical sense of how to help others make the same shift. You can point to a framework or program you built that others adopted and ran with. You think like a business leader. You understand what drives our companies, prioritise what matters most, and connect people initiatives to business outcomes. You are collaborative with a holistic perspective. You connect across functions and bring the right people together to make things happen. You feel confident to facilitate and present. Online and in person, to audiences from People professionals to senior leaders. You have strong stakeholder skills. You are able to build trust and influence without formal authority in a complex, international environment. Fluent in English. What we offer An opportunity to shape People strategy across one of Europe's largest and fastest-growing tech groups, combining hands-on delivery with strategic influence. Direct collaboration with senior leadership at the intersection of People strategy and business outcomes. A network of 300+ People professionals across 160 companies. High auton
