Description
OUR PURPOSE AT PLANCRAFT
Building the backbone of European trades together – with AI-first software.
We’re not just building software – we’re on a mission to create space for contractors & tradespeople by equipping them with AI solutions that work the way they do: fast, practical, and AI-first. With Tier 1 Investors from Europe and the US, like Headline and Creandum as well as 30,000+ tradespeople as customer base, we’re scaling across Europe to turn scattered tradespeople into thriving communities. We believe in zero admin, not zero personality – and we build every feature with the people in mind who wear the boots, not the suits. We’re #stoked to shape the future, #together as a team, and #humble in our mission to support the builders of tomorrow.
YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT
As a (Senior) Organizational Development Manager, you are a key shaper, sparring partner, and strategic operator for organizational development initiatives that enable plancraft to scale with clarity, effectiveness, and cultural coherence.
In close partnership with the Head of P&O, you co-create and translate company strategy, organizational insights, and P&O data into clear, scalable people and org systems. These systems are designed to unlock the full potential of both our organization and our people by creating clarity, effectiveness, and consistency in how we work, lead, and grow. You take strong end-to-end ownership or act as key support for strategy & execution of OD initiatives (depending on your seniority level) — from concept co-creation and rollout planning to stakeholder alignment, tooling setup, enablement, and impact tracking — and collaborate with other People & Business Operations functions and leadership to ensure solutions are embedded in day-to-day reality.
With plancraft currently at 150+ people, operating across 5 European countries, and further growing, this role is pivotal in helping to build the systems, routines, and standards that allow us to grow without losing speed, focus, or cultural strength.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive strategy & execution of organizational development initiatives (e.g. performance mgmt, total rewards, org design, internal comms) in close collaboration with the Head of P&O.
- Help to translate strategic direction, org insights, and data into actionable solutions, such as frameworks, processes, templates, enablement materials, and decision artefacts.
- Coordinate project-based collaboration with People & Business Operations functions and leadership to align requirements and ensure smooth execution.
- Operationalize and continuously improve core people and org systems by building smart (AI-driven) workflows, practical toolkits, and enabling consistent standards.
- Plan and run org-wide OD rollouts and enablement, including communications, training formats, documentation, and Q&A — driving adoption and tracking effectiveness.
- Support org design and workforce planning by maintaining systems, planning artefacts and decision materials that enable leadership clarity and decision readiness.
- Help to ensure high P&O data quality and deliver structured reporting and insights on progress, adoption, and improvement opportunities.
YOUR PROFILE
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years in a highly generalistic role (e.g., Founder’s Associate, Chief of Staff, Strategy & Ops with strong P&O touchpoints) or a dedicated OD / HR Strategy role with broad exposure.
- Organizational development foundation or equivalent experience in designing, structuring, operationalizing, and scaling org-wide initiatives end to end.
- Strong process and systems thinking; able to turn strategy, qualitative signals, and data into scalable frameworks, workflows, and enablement that consistently enable the organization.
- High ownership, strong attention to detail, and a structured, analytical way of working, with pragmatic follow-through in ambiguous situations.
- Strong stakeholder managemen
